CPN briefs its HoR and NA members about deal signed with Dr KC

Kathmandu, July 27: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has briefed its parliamentary party about the agreement signed with Dr Govinda KC regarding medical Education Bill.

During the meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar this morning, Parliamentary Party Deputy-Leader Subas Nembang briefed the meeting about the agreement.
On the occasion, Nembang said that the agreement has accepted parliamentary process and supremacy.

He said they have expected that the House obstruction by the main opposition lawmakers expressing dissatisfaction over Medical Education Bill would resume after the deal with agitating doctor KC.
Present on the occasion were Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN, KP Sharma Oli, Co-Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and members of House of Representatives and National Assembly of the CPN.

Dr KC, who had been staging hunger-strike for the past 27-days, ended his strike on Thursday late night after signing nine-point with government. A meeting of House of Representatives has been called for 1:00 pm today. RSS
