Five U-12 Tennis players leave for Korea; Naulin Sports Villa bids farewell to players
Kathmandu / Aug 14: Five under 12 players have left for Korea to participate in International Junior Tennis Championship to be held in South Korea from 16 to 20 August 2018.
They will participate in two international tournaments 12th KETF U-12 Series 1 in Sunchang Tennis Court, Sunchang-Gun from 16 to 20 August 2018 and 12th KETF U-12 Series 2 in Yonggu Tennis Part, Yanggu-Gun South Korea from 21 to 25 August 2018.
Prasamsa Moktan, Sunira Thapa, Eva Adhikari, Aayushman Hajur Ghale and Boris Adhiari are representing Nepal in these two events. The players along with parents got the visa from Korean Embassy at the recommendation of Naulin Sports Villa.
Naulin Sports Villa, which has been running international level tennis court, bid farewell to the players amidst a function at the villa. All the participating players are the members of the Villa. Managing Director of the Villa Kishor Thapa and Veteran Tennis Player Hem Lama bid farewell to the players and wished them good luck.
Managing Director Thapa said that it is a moment of pride for the villa to send its members for the international tournament within nine months of its operation. He further said that the Villa will promote such initiatives in the future as well so that players will get international exposure and contribute in the field of Tennis. The Villa has been providing international level training to different groups including school students at an affordable rate to promote healthy living through sports.
