Five Integrated Settlement Development Projects for three districts approved

Nepal Reconstruction AuthorityKathmandu / Aug 22: National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has approved the preliminary plan for the development of five integrated settlements in three districts—Sindhupalchowk, Ramechhap and Kavrepalanchowk.

A meeting of NRA Executive Committee held today for the first time after the appointment of Sushil Gyawali to the post of Chief Executive Officer took the decision to this effect.

NRA Executive Committee member Dhurba Prasad Sharma said that detailed project proposal would be prepared for the infrastructure in the integrated settlements.

He said that responsibility would be given to the District Project Implementation Unit to prepare the proposal. The meeting approved Noburling Integrated Settlement Development Project and Namdoling Integrated Settlement Development Project of Melamchi municipality-12, Tyangthali Integrated Model Settlement Development Project of Sindhupalchowk district.

Similarly, the meeting also approved the Gaikhura Settlement Development Project of Manthali municipality, Ramechhap district and Tamang Settlement Development Project of Mandandeupur municipality-10 of Kavrepalanchowk district.

Likewise, it approved employee quotas for Central Level Project Implementation Unit under the NRA. RSS
