Mainali and Pakuwal bag KCC Professional Journalism Award

Kathmandu / Aug 26: Senior Journalist Mohan Mainali and Jhapa based journalist Maya Pakuwal have bagged KCC Professional Journalism Award established by Kantipur City College.

The award, which carries a purse of NPR 25,000 rupees and felicitation letter conferred to the journalist duo amongst a function held in the Capital on Sunday. Commissioner of the National Information Commission Yasoda Timilsena and Chairperson of Federation of Nepalese Journalists Govinda Acharya lauded the contribution of KCC in the field of professional journalism through the award. KCC has been providing quality media education since 2001.

KCC Media Journal 2 was launched on the occasion. The journal was published by Kantipur City College Department of Mass Communication and Journalism. The journal incorporates 9 articles on different thematic areas.
