ICC World T20: Nepal thrashes Myanmar by 8 wickets

Nepali cricket NedKathmandu / Oct 3: Nepal defeated Myanmar by eights wickets in the World T20 Asia Region Qualifiers B held in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

Chasing the 30-run target set by Myanmar, Nepal managed to reach the target losing only two wickets with 102 balls to spare.

Karan KC smashed not –out 14 runs off eight balls. AK Sah made 11 runs before getting himself trapped in a leg before wicket (lbw).

Opener B Bhandari only managed to collect only one run while PS Airee returned back to pavilion without collecting any runs.

Sandeep Lamichhane took the highest four wickets in the match. Likewise, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi claimed three wickets while Karan KC and Lalit Singh Bhandari grabbed one wicket each. Courtesy: Myrepublica
