ICC gives go-ahead to Pokhara Premier League

CAN_CricketKathmandu / Oct 8: International Cricket Council (ICC), the governing body of cricket, has officially sanctioned the first edition of Pokhara Premier League, the organisers said today.

With ICC’s approval, it allows international players to receive no objection letter from their respective boards to participate in the PPL in Pokhara, Nepal.

“ICC sanctions to Pokhara Premier League denotes that the cricket governing body is committed to the development of game all around the world,” Chhumbi Lama of Queens Event Management Nepal said.

A total of six teams–Pokhara Paltan, Chitwan Rhinos, Butwal Blasters, Dhangadhi Blues, Biratnagar Titans, and Kathmandu Royals are participating in the tournament, organisers said.
