1,400 houses reconstructed in Parbat after earthquake

Reconstruction WomenParbat / Oct 8: Some 1,400 houses have been reconstructed in Parbat district during the three-and-a-half years since the 2015 earthquake devastations. The earthquake had completely damaged a total of 5,269 houses in the district.

All 1,400 beneficiaries who completed construction of their houses have also received second tranche of relief amount provided by the government. Remaining 3,869 beneficiaries have not yet constructed their houses.

The first installment of the relief amounting to over Rs 240 million was given away to the beneficiaries while the payment of second tranche Rs 210 million was also made to those who constructed their houses, shared National Reconstruction Authority District Project Implementation Unit, Parbat.

It was shared that no beneficiary has so far requested for third installment for reconstruction in Parbat district. RSS
