UN Deputy Secretary-General pays courtesy call on President Bhandari; Army Chief

U N LogoKathmandu / Nov 16: Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina J. Mohammed, today paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

During the meeting held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, they discussed various matters including UN-funded programmes in Nepal and increasing mutual cooperation between Nepal and UN.

High-ranking officials of the Office of the President were present on the occasion, according to the Office of the President.

UN DSG meets Army Chief

Meanwhile, visiting Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina J Mohammed, paid a courtesy call on Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS), Purna Chandra Thapa, at the Army Headquarters today.

During the meeting they held discussions on the range of relations between Nepali Army and the United Nations, the Nepali Army’s Public Relations Directorate stated. RSS
