Austrian Minister Kneissl arrives in Kathmandu

bideshAustrian MinisterKathmandu / Feb 21: Austria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Karin Kneissl, has arrived on a three-day official visit to Nepal, at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.

This is the first ministerial visit taking place from Austria to Nepal in the last 30 years.

During the visit, a bilateral meeting will be held and the foreign ministers of both the countries will head the respective delegation to it. Matters relating to bilateral interest and mutual concerns and other issues of regional and international importance are the agendas for discussions during the meeting.

The Austrian minister’s entourage will include 13 members including five journalists, Ministry’s Spokesperson Bharat Raj Paudyal said.

The Austrian minister is scheduled to call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and attend a program to be organized by the Institute of Foreign Affairs.
