Westerly wind brings brief rainfall

Kathmandu / Mar 19: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said some parts of the hilly region across the country witnesses brief rainfall with thunder.

Meteorologist at the Division Bibhuti Pokharel said most of the parts in the country will experience a weather change while some places in the hilly region shall witness brief rainfall with the advent of the pre-monsoon. The pre-monsoon features with brief rainfall- even the valley sees it in some part. Heavy rainfall is not expected in pre-monsoon, she added.

Very brief rainfall with weather change is predicted on Wednesday and Thursday as well. The Kathmandu Valley recorded a minimum temperature of 11.7 degree Celsius and the maximum 26 degree Celsius. RSS
