DPM Pokhrel highlights need of practical education

Kathmandu / Apr 12: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokhrel has said a base has been created to transform the existing education system into a practical one.

In his address in the 56th-anniversary celebrations of Tangal Secondary here today, the deputy prime minister highlighted the need on a change in Nepal’s education system, which according to him, lacked practical applications. “Graduates are unemployed as to absence of practical education.

But, now a base for the same has been built and the government is planning to implement the technical education based upon the same ground.” He took time to assure that people need not wait for more to see the results of development. On the occasion, he awarded the students securing outstanding results in final exams of various grades. RSS
