2nd Naulin JTI Junior Tennis Championship concludes

Kathmandu / September 22: Second Naulin JTI Junior Tennis Championship has concluded in the Capital on Sunday.

Organized by Naulin Sports Villa, which has been running international level tennis courts in Bhangal area of Budanilkantha Municipality, has been organizing the tournament with the objective of raising awareness about Tennis and provide exposure to the children in the match.

A total of 91 students participated in the tournament under five different age categories. 54 boys and 37 girls from Kathmandu, Kavre, Pokhara and Butwal competed in the tournament. Winners and runner ups were given certificate and medals amidst a closing ceremony on Sunday.

Addressing the concluding ceremony, Managing Director of the organization, Mr. Kishor Thapa thanked all involved in the process. He added that the number of participants increased this year as compared to first episode of the tournament and added that he hopes to see more participants next year. The Villa has been organizing special training programme for children and some of the member children of villa have also participated in the international tournament.
