Bangladesh Prez to visit Nepal next week

Kathmandu / Nov 9: The president of Bangladesh Md Abdul Hamid is paying an official goodwill visit to Nepal next week.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bangladeshi president will be visiting in Nepal from November 12 to 15.

Upon his arrival, the president will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Tribhuwan International Airport in the capital.

During the visit, he will meet his Nepali counterpart Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Timilsina and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali.

Similarly, leaders of different political parties will also call on the President of Bangladesh.

President Bhandari will host a banquet in honor of her Bangladeshi counterpart.

While in Nepal, Hamid will also visit Pokhara and some historical, archaeological and cultural sites in the Kathmandu valley.
