380 new Covid-19 cases reported; tally reached 6,591; 1,158 recovered
Kathmandu / June 16: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 380 new cases of COVID-19 today.
As many as 380 people were found with the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
The new cases were detected in Jhapa, Panchthar, Sunsari, Rautahat, Mahottari, Parsa, Nawalparasi, Baglung, Tanahun, Kaski, Syangja, Achham, Baitadi, Doti, Kanchanpur, Kailali, Banke, Bardiya, Saptari, Nawalparasi (East), Argakhanchi, Rupandehi, Dailekh, Surkhet, Dahnusa, Ramechhap, Salyan, Dang, Kathmandu, Mahottari, Morang, Rautahat and Rolpa.
The virus has now spread to 73 out of 77 districts.
Meanwhile, 117 COVID-19 patients, including eight females and 109 males receiving treatment at various hospitals accross the country have been discharged from hospital in last 24 hours after recovering from the virus.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 6,591, including 1,158 cases of recovery and 19 death cases.
