COVID-19 count climbs to 10,728 with 629 new cases
Kathmandu / June 24: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 629 new cases of COVID-19 today.
As many as 629 persons, 519 males and 110 females, were identified with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
The new cases were detected in Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, Saptari, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Achham, Baitadi, Bajura, Doti, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Parbat, Rautahat, Dhading, Kathmandu, Chitwan, Tanahun, Nawalparasi (East), Palpa, Bhaktapur, Gorkha, Kaski, Baglung, Lamjung, Syangja, Gulmi, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Banke, Bardiya, Dang, Pyuthan, Jajarkot, Surkhet, Kalikot
Meanwhile, 114 COVID-19 patients, 106 males and eight females, receiving treatment at Jaleshwor Hospital, Mahottari, COVID-19 Hospital, Janakpur, Sindhuli Hospital, Bharatpur Hospital, BPKIHS, Dharan, Damauli Hospital, Tanahun, Dhaulagiri Hospital, Baglung, Gorkha Hospita, Kalika Hospital, Syangja and GP Koirala Hospital have been discharged in the last 24 hours after recovering from the virus infection.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 10,728, including 2,338 cases of recovery and 24 death cases.
