With 484 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally reaches 24,432

Kathmandu / Aug 12: 484 new cases of coronavirus were recorded across the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

At a virtual media briefing, MoHP spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam said that 484 new cases of COVID-19 were detected during 10,481 PCR tests conducted at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

“With this, the country’s coronavirus tally has climbed to 24, 432,” Gautam said.

64 COVID-19 patients were discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. “As of today, 16,728 persons have been discharged after recovery in the country,” spokesperson Gautam said.
