TU decides to postpone all its examination programs until further notice

Kathmandu / Aug 13: Tribhuvan University has decided to postpone all its examination programs until further notice, a top TU official said on Thursday.

Although the University was preparing to conduct the semester-based examination starting September 1 and the annual examinations from mid-September they have been postponed until further notice in view of the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Examination Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi

Joshi said that the examination would be conducted only after the situation returns to normalcy and the concerned Dean Offices make appropriate decisions to this effect.

Even as the TU has decided to postpone all the examination, it has been publishing the results of different semesters, academic levels and years of different faculties during the ongoing lockdown. Joshi informed that only eight examinations conducted before the lockdown are waiting for the publication of the result.
