47th annual function of JAAN marked in the capital

Kathmandu / Mar. 07: JICA Alumni Association of Nepal (JAAN) marked its 47th annual function and annual general meeting on Saturday in Kathmandu. Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun inaugurated the annual function as a chief guest. Milan magazine published by JAAN was also launched. The magazine contains articles on Covid-19 pandemic by 17 writers—who were felicitated by Vice-president on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ram Chandra Bhusal, the chairperson of JAAN, appreciated Japanese cooperation and assistance to Nepal in the field of agriculture development, education and health. Various personalities—serving and former secretaries, former ambassadors and intellectuals—participated in the event.
