China hands over Vero Cell Vaccine to Nepal under Grant Assistance

Kathmandu / Mar. 29: The ‘Vero cell’ vaccine against the novel coronavirus from China, has been handed over to Nepal.

Ambassador of China to Nepal Hou Yanqi handed over the 800,000 doses of Vero cell vaccine to Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi amid a programme organised at the Tribhuwan International Airport today morning.

Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson at the MoHP, informed that the vaccine was provided by China under grant assistance.
