Corruption case filed against then officials of Tax Clearance Commission

Kathmandu / June 23: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case against three former officials of the Tax Clearance Commission (TCC) for their alleged involvement in graft.

The CIAA has made accusations against former Chairman of the Commission Lumbadhwaj Mahat and former members Umesh Prasad Dhakal for committing corruption worth Rs. 1.03 billion.

The case against the then officials of the TCC has been filed at the Special Court, Kathmandu.
