Nepal defeats Mauritius by 1-0 in Friendly Match

Kathmandu / Feb. 1: Nepal has defeated Mauritius by 1-0 in the friendly football match held today at the Dasharath Stadium.

Nepal secure the victory with Sujal Shresha making the goal within 10 minutes of the game.

In the tense second friendly match, three players and an official got the red cards.

A player from Nepal and two from Mauritius got the red cards which resulted in Nepal play with 10 players while Mauritius with 9 players. An official from Nepal, Bikash Malla, who entered the ground as the dispute grew during games also got a red card.

Kiran Gurung was announced man of the match.

Earlier, on Saturday, Nepal had also emerged victorious with 1-0 against Mauritius in the first round of the friendly match.
