2,742 new cases on RT-PCR, 8,723 recoveries and 14 deaths

Kathmandu / Feb. 3: As many as 2,742 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus through the PCR tests of the swab samples of 10,026 people in the last 24 hours.

433 were found positive for the virus through the anti-gent test of 2579 people in the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

In total, 3,175 are found positive for the virus when the results of the PCR and anti-gen tests are combined, according to the MoHP.

In the last 24 hours, 8,723 people got over the virus infection. However, 14 people succumbed to the virus infection in the same period, according to the MoHP. Nepal’s COVID-19 death tally reached 11, 778 as of today.

There are 63,296 active cases of the novel coronavirus infection in the country.

266,540 people were administered the vaccines against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours across the country, according to the MoHP.
