Lukla Outdoor brings flavour of Mountain to Kathmandu; receives warm response from customers

Kathmandu / Feb 11: Lukla Outdoor has started its new outlet in Mandikatar with the objective of bringing the flavour of Mountain in the capital.

The brand, which started in Lukla by four passionate women in September 2019, has been popular among the customers looking quality products.

“We have been providing strong, durable and reliable products and has been working diligently with the vision of putting Nepal made outdoor products into the world map of mountaineering and outdoor adventure,” reads the statement issues by the organization.

The company has been supporting local initiatives for promoting the local culture and assisting locals at the same time as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The owners of the enterprise are excited from the warm response the brand has received in the Capital within a week of its operation. Over 2000 people have visited the outlet in Mandikatar as the store provided opening discount from 5 to 11 February.

With the initial response of the customers in Capital the women entrepreneurs are planning to extend its wings in Pokhara and Thamel in the near future.

The company has been producing clothes for all seasons, mountaineering gears and masks for protecting customers during this pandemic period. Although the global pandemic has been making all ventures quiet concerned but the dedicated women feels that they see bright days in the near future and committed to expand their wings. 12 people are getting employment in the new store.
