EC appeals not to make expressions casting doubt on Election
Kathmandu / April 14: Election Commission has urged all to refrain from issuing expressions that cast doubt on the local level election slated for May 13.
The EC drew the attention of all the concerned during the regular press meet held on Thursday.
“The EC urges all the leaders and activists of the political parties not to make expressions that create doubt on the election,” the EC said in its press release issued after the press meet.
At the press meet, EC spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Paudel said that 7 million 33 thousand ballot papers out of a total needed 19 million 400 thousand have been printed. The number of printed ballot papers suffices to the need for 39 districts.
He said 800 thousand ballot papers have been printed a day on average.
