Govt. decides to grant two days weekly holiday as trial

Kathmandu / April 27: The Government has decided to grant two days of weekly holiday in a week as a trial.

Announcing the decision of the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that the government has decided to give two days of weekly holiday a year as a trial.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday to announce the decision of Tuesday’s cabinet meeting, government spokesperson Karki said that the government has decided to grant two days of weekly holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

According to spokesperson Karki, this decision will be implemented from May 15. After the implementation of the decision, government offices will be operational from 9:30 am and 5.30 pm.
