Kathmandu to host SAFF Women’s Championship 2022
Kathmandu / July 23: Kathmandu is set to host SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 at Dashrath stadium.
The regional football championship will begin from September 6 in which seven SAARC nations will fight for the title.
Earlier, the Nepali delegation led by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) General Secretary Kiran Rai had proposed the date to hold the competition in Kathmandu at the SAFF Ordinary Congress, which was held in Bangladesh.
Nepal will host the women’s competition for the second time in three years as the championship was held in Biratnagar in March 2019 for the first time.
