CAAN completes its work at Pokhara Airport

Kathmandu / July 31: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has said that the construction work on its behalf at the Pokhara Regional International Airport has almost been completed.

CAAN Director General Pradeep Adhikari said that the work to be done by the authority has almost been completed.

“Now the work of cutting the hill and landfill site is left, however, it does not fall under the work of the authority. The rest of the work has been completed,” Adhikari said while announcing the budget and programs for the next financial year on Sunday. “This airport is ready for commercial flights within the current financial year.”

CAAN has announced a budget of Rs 41.85 billion this year.
