Vehicles charging exorbitant fare face action

Tanahun / Oct 28: The District Police Office and District Traffic Office Tanahun on Friday took a joint effort to take action against the vehicles charging high fare to passengers.

As many as 19 vehicles were brought under action for charging higher fare than the standards set by the transport committee.

Chief of District Traffic Police, DSP Rajib Bista informed that the vehicles were penalized when they were found charging higher fare while examining vehicles nearby Passenger Help Desk at Bhorletarchowk in Damauli.

Vehicles en route to different destinations from Pokhara were checked on the spot to know whether or not passengers were compelled to pay higher fare. RSS
