Nepal defeats Scotland by 3 wickets

Kathmandu / Feb. 17: Nepal defeated Scotland by three wickets under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2.

Nepal scored 275 runs target which was given by Scotland by losing seven wickets with 18 balls remaining on Friday at TU International Cricket ground Kirtipur.

From the Nepal side, Dipendra Singh Airee and Kushal Malla hit half-centuries and scored 85 and 81 runs respectively.

Batting first Scotland was scored 274 runs by losing 9 wickets in 50 overs.

Scotland’s Michael Leask scored 107 runs whereas other batsmen have not been able to cross 30 runs.

Bolling side, Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets by giving just 27 runs. Scotland’s bowlers Mark Watt and Chris Sole picked 3 wickets each.
