98 news cases of COVID-19 confirmed in 24 hrs

Kathmandu / Apr. 5: As many as 98 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours across the country, according to Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

With the new cases, total active COVID caseload has reached 322.

28 people recovered from the infection during the period.

0f the total new cases, 71 were detected through PCR test while 27 were detected through antigen tests. The MoHP does not include cases detected through antigen in the active caseload.

A total of 1,768 samples, 427 PCR and 1,341 antigen, were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours.
