Govt sending NAC aircraft to bring 250 stranded Nepali; FM to accompany the team

Kathmandu / Oct 11: The government is sending an aircraft of Nepal Airlines to Israel to bring back 250 people stranded in the country due to the ongoing war with Hamas.

Organising a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sewa Lamsal informed media persons that the plane is heading to Israel tonight to rescue Nepali citizens.

She said that 288 Nepalis in Israel are willing to return to their home country but the plane has the capacity to bring back only 250 people.

Foreign Minister Saud to join the team going to Israel

Foreign Minister NP Saud is heading to Israel tonight to bring back Nepali citizens stranded in Israel.

The minister’s chief personal secretary Deepak Joshi said that a team led by Foreign Minister Saud is going to Israel to rescue Nepali citizens.

Nepal Airlines Corporation’s aircraft is flying to Israel tonight.

Altogether 288 Nepalis living in Israel have filed applications to return back home.
