RPP Nepal proposes forming broader national front uniting forces favoring monarchy and Hindu nation
Kathmandu / Nov 27: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal, led by Kamal Thapa, has put forward a proposition to establish a broader national front, uniting those in favor of maintaining a constitutional monarchy and Hindu nation.
The meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of RPP Nepal has concluded that the demonstrations in favor of the monarchy and the Hindu nation have given a clear message that the public is looking for an alternative.
In the meeting, the RPP leaders said, “The public has sought options such as democracy with a constitutional monarchy, eternal Hindu nation, strong local autonomous governance, and corruption-free good governance and prosperity.”
RPP Nepal has called upon the parties and groups advocating the abolition of federalism and establishing a constitutional monarchy and Hindu nation to form a united national front. The party said that it will be challenging to achieve the goal when the forces with similar ideologies and agendas remain divided.
Rajaram Bartaula, the General Secretary of RPP Nepal, announced that the organization of the front and the action plan for future movements will be presented during the upcoming CWC meeting to be held in Kathmandu on December 10 and 11.
