National Assembly Elections: Electoral Officer appointed for all seven provinces

Kathmandu / Dec 28: The Election Commission (EC) has announced the appointment of Election Officers for the upcoming National Assembly Member Election scheduled for January 25.

In a notice issued on Thursday, the EC revealed the appointment of Election Officers for all seven provinces, all of whom hold the position of District Judges. The appointed Election Officers are as follows:

Judge Durga Prasad Dhungel – Morang District Court, Koshi Province

Judge Narayan Prasad Subedi – Dhanusha District Court, Madhesh Province

Judge Mahendra Bahadur Karki – Makwanpur District Court, Bagmati Province

Judge Keshav Prasad Bastola – Kaski District Court, Gandaki Province

Judge Kripasur Karki – Dang District Court, Lumbini Province

Judge Bishnu Prasad Aryal – Surkhet District Court, Karnali Province

Judge Om Prakash Aryal – Kailali District Court, Sudurpaschim Province

The EC emphasized that the election program will commence with the establishment of the election officer’s office in the respective provincial election office on January 1 following the appointment of the election officers.
