Nepal beat Netherlands by 6 wickets to reach final

Kathmandu / Mar 2: Nepal beat the Netherlands by 6 wickets to reach the final, on Saturday under the Tri-Nation T20I Series at Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

Nepal achieved the 121 runs target posted by the Netherlands in just 15.2 overs with the loss of 4 wickets with 28 balls remaining.

To achieve a medium target at the earliest Nepali batsman Rohit Paudel hit the highest runs of 46. Similarly, Gulsan Jha scored 38 runs before being out in 13.4 overs.

Earlier, in the first inning, the Netherlands had scored 120 runs before being all out in 19.3 overs.

Nepali bowler Pratis GC took 3 wickets by giving 13 runs in 4 overs whereas Karan KC and Kushal Malla took 2 wickets each. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee took a wicket.

From the Netherlands side, Max O’Dowd scored the highest 31 runs. Similarly, Timm van der Gugten, Roelof van der Merwe Scott Edwards and Scott Edwards scored 24, 23 and 18 runs respectively.
