Ruling parties appreciate Govt.’s performance; NC President says Govt will complete its full term

Kathmandu / Oct 25: The seven parties in the ruling coalition have issued a joint statement appreciating the achievements made by the government in the first 100 days.

The ruling parties have welcomed the government achievements in the seven point statement issued today and undersigned by CPN (UML) Chairman, also Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, Renu Yadav, co-chairperson of Janata Samajwadi Party, Dr. CK Raut, Chairman of Janamat Party, Rajkishor Yadav, vice-chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Mahanta Thakur, Chairman of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party and Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhari, Chairperson of Nagarik Unamukti Party.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the NC is satisfied with the performance of the government in the last 100 days.

The president of the major party in the ruling alliance viewed that there were no reasons to be dissatisfied with the works performed by the government led by CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

President Deuba said the government has done good job in its honeymoon period, according to the News Agency Nepal.

He argued that remours were spread that the government did not work well in disaster management, relief and rescue. “The government has taken pace from all respects.”

President Deuba said, “I would appreciate the 100 days of the government. It has effectively carried out the rescue and relief operation during the time of floods and landslides.”

The NC president said that the incumbent government will complete its full term as agreed ( 2 years since its formation) and that he will lead the government in the remaining period (one and a half year) before the parliamentary election.

Former Prime Minister Deuba said that it is usual that challenges crop up when there are many parties in the government. “Small problems and challenges do appear within a party, within our party and they are settled.”
