Govt will ensure people don’t suffer from poverty, starvation: PM Oli

Kathmandu / Oct 26: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will not allow a situation to emerge wherein people suffer from poverty and starve to death.

Addressing National Climate Conference organized by the Ministry of Forest and Environment, PM Oli also made it clear that the government was committed to democracy as it was the best polity for the country and humanity.

“We are doing something. We won’t allow people to starve to death and suffer from poverty. The present government is formed for the same,” said PM Oli.

He viewed that as the present government was run by the parties with history of long movement such as CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress it will uphold democracy in its true sense.
