Education Minister seeks list of projects to release additional budget

Baglung / Feb 6: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has asked the chiefs of government offices in Baglung district to send the name of projects if they are in need of additional budget.

During an interaction programme with the chiefs of government offices on Sunday, Minister Poudel sought the details of the projects that are in need of additional budget.

He directed the government officials to write if there was anything to do immediately adding that preparations were underway for shifting the budget and making a new budget.

Saying that the election would be held in time as per the legal provisions, he directed the chiefs of offices to complete the projects by the mid of March.

On the occasion, Minister directed the concerned officials to expedite the construction of a motorable bridge connecting Galkot and Malma in the district.

Minister Poudel stated that initiatives were taken to upgrade Burtibang primary health care center into the status of the district hospital. RSS
