68 new cases on RT-PCR and 251 recoveries in 24 hrs

Kathmandu / Mar. 9: Sixty-eight people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in the PCR test of 6,936 people across the country, only 68 people tested positive for the virus while 151 people tested positive for the same virus through the antigen test of 156 people.

When the results of the PCR and antigen tests are combined, 224 people tested positive for the virus.

In the same period, 251 people got over the virus infection and the recovery rate stands at 98.2 per cent in the country.

There are 5,692 active cases of the novel coronavirus in the country as of today, according to the MoHP.

Meanwhile, 96,089 people were administered with anti-COVID vaccines in the last 24 hours.
