Local govt should pay attention to ensure quality service delivery: Minister Sharma

Dang / Dec 2: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, has said the local government should pay special attention in delivering quality service to the people.

At a programme organized by Kapurkot rural municipality of Salyan today, Minister Sharma mentioned that local governments should pay attention to citizen-centric service delivery as good governance and delivery of quality service are the priorities of the government.

She pointed out the need to make service delivery more smooth and technology-friendly. Also the Spokesperson of the government, Minister Sharma mentioned that federal and provincial governments would carry out other activities of infrastructure and development construction.

Minister Sharma clarified that upgrading of Rapti highway and improving telephone service in the region, among others, are priorities of the current government.

On the occasion, Minister Sharma was briefed about the problems of the rural municipality.RSS
