Govt provides Rs. 50 million to families of those killed in recent disaster

Kathmandu / Oct 20: The government has provided financial relief to the relatives of those who were lost lives during the recent floods and landslides.

The government has provide a sum of Rs. 200,00 to each victim. According to the Home Ministry, a sum of Rs. 50 million has been provided to the families of those dead in rain-induced disaster in 23 districts so far.

Altogether 238 people were killed in the disaster while 177 were injured. Eight people are still missing. Processes to provide financial relief to victim families is going on.
