FNCCI calls all sides to prevent nation from being failure

FNCCIKathmandu / October 4: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCC)) has urged the government and the agitating political parties to prevent the nation from becoming a failed state.

The 10th meeting of executive committee of the FNCCI on Sunday welcomed the ongoing dialogues between the government and the agitating political parties and requested them to reach the dialogue to the logical conclusion.

The FNCCI expressed worry over the strikes ongoing in the Madhes for more than one and half month which has paralysed nation’s economy.

It has also demanded the government to announce relief programmes to save the economy from downfall.

The ailing economy of the country hardly hit due to ongoing strike in most of the custom points. Some Madhesh based political parties have been blocking the major custom points of the country for many days citing differences in the new constitution. India has been imposing undeclared blockade to Nepal. RSS
