Deurali-Toripani road upgradation begins

everest-trek-trailsMyagdi / January 29: The upgradation of Arthunge Deurali-Toripani road in Myagdi district has started recently.

The seven-kilometre-long dirt road is being upgraded at the estimated cost of around Rs 60 million.

The project is being undertaken by the VDC in financial support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project (DRILP), according to Chiranjibi Poudel, Local Development Officer, Myagdi.

The upgradation of the road is expected to complete by August 19, this year.

Similarly, the upgradation of Beni-Pakhapani road in the district has started. The road spanning 3.1 kilometres links Rahughat Area in Myagdi to the district headquarters.

It is one of the biggest and much-awaited Projects in the district, said Project Chief Om Bahadur KC. RSS
