Thapathan declared fully immunized and literate VDC

Parbat / Dec 23: The only model VDC of Parbat, Thapathana, has been declared a fully-immunized, fully-literate and electricity accessible VDC.

The declarations were made amidst a special function organized here.

People at the age group of 15-60 of the VDC can read and write and keep their accounts themselves. With this, number of illiterate people has been declined to zero, informed VDC Secretary Purna Bahadur Bhandari.

Similarly, it was declared fully-immunized VDC when children up to 2 years complete all the regular vaccinations.

Likewise, the electrification was carried out in all wards with the installation of iron-made electric poles so it was declared the area having full access to electricity services as well. RSS
