1.1 million visit Lumbini in 10 months

Kathmandu / Nov 24: As many as 1.1 million people- both foreigners and Nepalis- have visited Lumbini in 10 months.
The Lumbini Development Trust informed that number of domestic visitors rose significantly. The birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha witnessed more than 800 thousand domestic visitors.
Similarly, over 100 thousand Indian people visited Lumbini. After India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand top the people visiting Lumbini.
He also said the number of tourists from China was also growing. Till August, 10,577 tourists from China visited this year. RSS
