NRNA to help govt in promotion of Visit Nepal 2020

Kathmandu / Oct 20: The Nepal government and Non-Resident Nepali Association agreed to jointly launch a campaign to promote Visit Nepal 2020.

A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed by newly-elected NRNA President Kumar Pant and coordinator of Visit Nepal 2020 Suraj Baidya at Nepal Tourism Board in the capital on Sunday. Tourism Minister Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai was also present during the MoU signing ceremony.

As per the 17-point MoU, every Nepali national affiliated with the NRNA will send a foreign friend to Nepal. The government and the concerned Nepali nationals living in foreign countries who send their foreign friends to Nepal will maintain the record in the days to come.

The deal states that the government will honor the Nepali nationals living in foreign countries who send their foreign friends to visit Nepal.
