TU urges students to join online class

Kathmandu / Aug. 26: The Tribhuvan University (TU) has urged its students to attend the online teaching learning activities.

TU Rector Prof Dr Shivalal Bhusal asked the students to participate in online classes keeping in touch with their respective department, school and campus as teaching learning activities have been taking place through virtual medium since classroom teaching learning activities are not possible at present due to COVID-19 infection.

He said, “TU has been running teaching learning activities through online medium after making projection that there is no situation to bring the COVID-19 infection under control. But problem has been surface to conduct the postponed examination as some of the students have not come in contact with their respective departments and campuses so far. So, all the students are requested to participate in teaching learning activities as soon as possible.”

All departments of the TU, schools, campuses, campus administration, office of dean are requested to create environment conducive to take initiative to bring the students in contact.

The TU has postponed its teaching learning activities and examinations from March 19 keeping the impact on public health by coronavirus infection in mind.
