FIFA bans ANFA President Thapa for 10 years

ANFAKathmandu / November 16: President of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Ganesh Thapa, would not carry out any activities related to football till 10 years.

The FIFA banned ANFA President Thapa for 10 years and fined 20,000 Swiss francs for his involvement in taking bribe.

The ethics committee of the FIFA held on November 9 took the decision in this regard against Thapa, who has been taking charge of vice-president of Asian Football Confederation, said ANFA Chief Executive Officer, Indraman Tuladhar.

Tuladhar said that a decision would be taken within few days after holding meeting of ANFA working committee regarding the action against Thapa. RSS
