Veep Pun admitted to Army Hospital
Kathmandu / February 06: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has been admitted at the Shree Birendra Hospital in Chhauni of Kathmandu after he suddenly felt some problem in his heart on Saturday.
The Vice-President’s son, Dipesh Pun, infomred that he was admitted at the hospital after he reported some problems in his heart while participating in a programme in Sindhuli.
“He had gone to Sindhuli via land route this morning but some hours after beginning of the programme, he said he felt dizzy and shivering. Also, he reported some problems in his heart,then, he was taken to the Kathmandu-based hospital on a helicopter at around 4:30 pm today,” he added.
His secretariat informed that his health condition was improving.Pun, the former chief of the then CPN-Maoist’s People’s Liberation Army, had survived kidney failure in 2012. Media reports then had claimed that he had refused to go to India for treatment despite an immense pressure from his party. Later, he was successfully treated in Nepal.
