Man rides ‘walking unicycle’ made with wooden legs

February 19: A Florida man showed off his balancing skills by riding a unique unicycle that featured a set of wooden legs in place of a wheel.

Flaviu Cernescu shared video to Facebook as he attempted to maneuver the modified “walking unicycle” as far as possible while practicing at Nova Gymnastics in Fort Lauderdale.

The wooden legs at the bottom of the unicycle simulate a walking motion by alternating left and right as Cernescu pushes on the pedals.

He managed to travel a fair distance on the wooden legs before eventually winding up on the padded gym floor.

“First practice session, 19 steps and a few nasty crashes,” he wrote on Facebook. UPI
