Nepal bags Best Decoration Award at Travel and Trade Fair Mumbai

NTBKathmandu / February 21: Nepal bagged the ‘Best Decoration Award’ at India’s biggest travel show Travel and Trade Fair (TTF) held in Mumbai Exhibition Center, Mumbai from February 18-20, 2016.

1,100 exhibitors from 50 countries participated in the fair, which was observed by 11,000 visitors. According to a press note issued by Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal’s participation at TTF Mumbai portrayed a Nepal pavilion with attractive and colorful graphics with special focus on pilgrimage and soft adventure attraction that Nepal has to offer to the Indian visitors.

NTB received queries for mainly pilgrimage and leisure tours. Indians have the highest esteem for Lord Pashupatinath and most were interested to visit Manakamana, Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. The beautifully designed Nepal stand depicted excellent combination of religious and adventure with graphics.

During the fair NTB distributed various promotional materials such as Lumbini, Muktinath, Mt. Everest and Bhaktapur Posters, Traveller’s Information and Adventure Attraction Brochures, National Parks and Pilgrimage Tourism Booklets, CD ROMs and typical Nepali Dolls Souvenirs etc. from the Nepal Pavilion to the trade and consumer attending TTF 2016 Mumbai.
